Highlights/Complaints/Praises and other Random Blah of the day

Highlights:
*Last weekend The Boyfriend and I were able to hang out with my friends. Saturday night the guys (Ex roomy #2, The Tall Mexican, and Mr. U.N. aka. Ex-Ex-Roomy) came over, forced them to walk to the Thai restaurant down the street (which meant walking uphill after dinner..hehe), came back to my place to watch riduculous clips from You Tube (you have to absolutely watch Flavor of Love-Reunion, its the best reality clip ever) and ended the night with a quick visit to Akbar, a local gay bar. The following day, we met up again but withthe addition of Ex Roomy #3, who we havent seen in what seems like forever. Of course our main conversation was about American Idol ( it was pretty funny, a bunch of gay guys in the middle of a coffee shop watching and criticizing American Idol clips).

*Hearing Tres babble on the telephone...I cant wait for his birthday. Its soo going to be "Super Sweet Sixteen" but for a one year old. Instead of a fancy car, I think I'm going to get him a small version of car.... a hybrid, something that he can pedal and with a handle in the back so we can push him if he gets tired...anyway, we still have to plan the rest of his fabulous 1st birthday!

Already practicing for his gift.

Once again...he's reminding me of what gift he wants for his birthday!

Look at those cheeks!

*I just checked the price of gold online and found out that I just got an 11% profit for my first time investment...how exciting! On the other hand, gas prices just reached $3.00 a gallon...such a downer.

Complaints:
*I've had it with Kellie Pickler... she needs to drop the whole "Im just a little girl from a little town of Albermarle"....I say enough. There were weeks when I actually thought she sang great but damn....she messed up one of my favorite songs (I know I'm so gay, who else in my age knows "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered").

SHE NEEDS TO GO!!!!!!!!

This might be the bottom three....and Im afraid that my Elliot will be out tonight. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

p.s. Im sooo happy that my man Elliot is still there and he's not even in the bottom three...wow Dialidol.com is really doing a great job predicting who gets kicked out. Anyway, before the show I got a text message from Ex-Roomy#3.... He's also an Elliot supporter and a Kellie hater, here's what he said.

"If that Pickle banshee stays, with that tired yokel routine, and Elliot goes...I may just snap"

I was laughing my ass of when I read it.....he passionately hates her. LOL

Other Random Blah:

* I got this from another blog (Iconoclast) including the picture of the cute kitty cat... I want my own kitty!

Quick recap of the day

I had a very eventfull day. Here's a recap.

*Woke up late...decided to have a very long breakfast while watching "The Price is Right" and "The View" (Is it me or Starr Jones is starting to look like a scary drag queen".

*I was craving for some Taco Bell. I remember when I used to work there in high school, I told myself that I will never eat anything from that place coz I got sick and tired of it....now I crave it like I'm a pregnant woman. (Later on I had a whopper from Burger King for dinner and a McFlurry from McDonalds for dessert...basically I'm asking for a heart attack).

*Finally went to work, mostly instructed the undergrad in the what to do but I also did some data analysis (nothing too exciting). On a side note...I saw Kameelah from "Real World Boston" on campus...it turns out that she's a 4th year med student at USC.

*Phone calls from:
(1)The Boyfriend about his missing UPS package (we found out from the UPS site that it didnt have his apartment number so it was sent back to Colorado);
(2) Older Sister about her biopsy exam. She has some suspicious bumps in her legs...not from insect bites, not from allergies, basically unknown etiology...poor thing, I hope its not soo painful; (3) Best Friend #2 about his decision to postpone his plans for continuing grad school, instead he's going to teach for a year in the Philippines...its very exciting! (more details later).

*I was invited by The Tall Mexican and Ex-Roomy#2 to a hockey game at Staples Center. They came with a couple more friends so the five of us cheered for the away team (hehe...no love for the L.A. Kings). San Jose Sharks won 5-0, so most of the people left even before the game ended. I would've cheered for the Kings but they sucked ass tonight...they might as well sent one guy in to represent for the entire team. (and by special request I choose this guy to represent the Kings and for the Sharks, I choose Jonathan Cheecho. Now if only I can get these two to remove their shirst and padding, and get into a full on wrestling match on ice...hmmm wishful thinking.

VS

*Finally on my way home I almost run over a skunk...Mr. Skunk decided to cross the street with his tail up almost threatening me of its toxic cologne. I decided that I will let him be the king of the road...so I waited till he successfully crossed the street.

Small Revelations About Me! part 1

I havent been posting not because I'm busy...mostly because I'm lazy. The past few weeks, I've had random stories that I said I was going to write about and post here but I feel that each one is not enough for a single posting. So now I'm compiling a list of things that either revealed or reminded me of good and bad things about me....

*I'm often very predictable
---Like every other gay man, as soon as I heard that Brokeback Mountain is coming out on DVD, I immediately went on Amazon to buy it weeks before its release date and I just got it right now. Also, like every other gay man, I will be pausing or using the slow play motion button for certain scenes in the movie that...ehhhmmmm I'd rather not point out.

*I have high tolerance for pain...sometimes
---I had a root canal and three fillings last Friday. I was there for almost three hours
because I bled too much and they cant do the job with all that mess. Come to think of it
I think I know why I've been so lazy and lethargic the past few days...its probably
because of the root canal and all the nosebleeds I've had the past few days.

*I'm indecisive...most of the time
---I already know this. Everyone that I know, know this about me. But I hate when I do it.
I just cant seem to make a decision sometimes. I know its stupid but its definitely a
major flaw of mine. There's soo many stories I can use as an example but i'll use a
series of photo to show my dilemma when it comes to making a decision about getting
a haircut.

"Hmmm....I think I want to get a haircut"

"Should I shave it all off, go back to my usual cut, frostings/higlights???"

"I just cant decide"

"oh well I'll just sleep it off"

*Im a conformist and at the same time a non-conformist
---At the coffee shop today, once again, Im surrounded by Mac lap tops and iPods. Its
not that I cant afford to buy an iPod nor do I think my Fujitsu
lap top is superior to that of the Apple laptops.... I just dont want to be like everyone
else. Lets see how long till I give up my Rio mp3 player, for now I'm happy with it.

---Like everyone and their mother, I too succumbed to the call of Myspace. Not that I'm
against the idea...coz I'm a member of other similar networking-type websites (ie.
Facebook, Friendster, Downelink), its just that its soo damn popular that I tried to
resist signing up for it. Although this can be viewed as me conforming to what is
popular...I still rebelled a little by not posting anything on my Myspace page...yes
I signed up but I'm not gonna put anything on it (its such a superficial, pointless
battle but its just part of some of idiosyncrasies).

*I like to give myself a heart attack (aka I love to worry about everything)
---The Boyfriend pointed out that if everything that I'm worrying about is actually just
A-ok, then what the hell am I going to do with my life? It sounded mean but he was
right. What brought this comment you might ask...well I just asked him to check my
tire pressure 20349230942394nth time even though I just check it a few days ago.
I even bought a tire pressure gauge so I dont have to go to the gas station to have it
checked. I constantly think that something's wrong with my car. Obsessing about
the littlest out of the norm noise that it produces, or suspicious smell from the engine
(no its not my feet). I have a laundry list of things I worry about but I digress.

"I'm sure something's wrong with my car"

*I can be mean sometimes....not evil, just a tad bit judgemental or selfish
---When watching something on tv, I have a tendency to criticize everything. I'm like
an unwanted commentator or more like castigator. I usually have something
not-so-nice to say about some actors/reality folks/politicians etc. Also, when I'm
driving around and I'm at a stop light, I always have something to say about people
in other cars or on the street. I'm sure I'm not the only one who do this but
still, its not nice....i'll try to stop it (more like try to reduce it)

---Due to the heavy rains these past two days, the roof of a local grocery/drug store
collapsed leading to several feet of water inside the store. The good thing is that no
one was hurt...but that wasnt really the first thought in my head. Sadly, I first thought
about the possibility of them having a big sale because of all those rain soaked products
they have in the store. Wow...I'm soo inconsiderate.

p.s. today is 04/05/06...how cool is that. Even better, 01:02 (AM or PM) on 04/05/06...INSANITY! Ok I'm pathetic.
